If you have been considering getting a Utah Concealed Carry Permit, now is the time to act. Currently, the Utah Concealed Carry Permit is the MOST HONORED permit in the nation; valid in 36 states and counting. Our Concealed Carry Instructors are certified by the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification to teach Utah Concealed Carry Permit Classes and by the National Rifle Association (NRA) to teach NRA classes. Each instructor uses a uniform curriculum that covers vital Utah Concealed Carry info in addition to the state minimums. As an added value, our Utah Concealed Carry Classes include ALL REQUIRED elements such as fingerprints, photos, and paperwork as to provide a stress free experience for the student. Our full service courses eliminate additional costs and inconveniences for the student to apply for the permit. Echo 6 Utah Concealed Firearms Carry Courses include:
Total Course Cost - Our course costs ($75/person or $125/couple) account for everything including the fingerprints, copies, and photos. In addition you will be charged the *permit fee (listed below) by the state of Utah when you submit your application. The Utah Concealed Carry Firearms Permit Fee is $47.00 for non-Utah residents. Check or Money Order is payable to BCI and can be paid at the class as part of the applicant packet.
Please Note - If you are not a Utah resident and live in a state where Concealed Firearm Permits are available, you must obtain your home state permit FIRST and include a copy of it with your Utah Permit Application. This copy is provided as part of the course. The student is responsible for bringing a valid permit to class.
Renewals are only $15.00 every 5 years with a new passport-type photo and renewal application submitted. There is no re-certification course required. Ask about our group discount specials for groups of 5 or more. If you don’t see a class date that works for your group consider requesting a private class at your or our location. Students will NOT bring live ammunition to class. Standard firearms handling exercises are conducted in a dry-fire environment with no live ammo in the classroom. Students are tested with real firearms (both revolvers and semi-automatic pistols) and plastic inert ammunition to demonstrate understanding of firearm safety / safe handling and the ability to operate (load, aim, discharge, unload) the firearm correctly.
