NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home:
The NRA Basics of Personal Protection Outside the Home is the course that develops in students the Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective, and responsible use of a concealed handgun for self-defense outside the home.

Echo Six strongly recommends this course to anyone that either possesses or wishes to possess a handgun carry permit. Many of our Utah Concealed Carry Permit holders also attend this course. Emphasis is placed on the student’s ability to confidently and safely draw their firearm from a holstered position.
